Culinary Instructors
With over twenty years of experience as a speaker and trainer, Mary transitioned to becoming a Culinary Instructor after her journey with breast cancer. This shift has been deeply fulfilling, allowing her to blend her passion for education with her love for cooking.
Mary’s culinary journey began at a young age, deeply influenced by her mother’s rich Teochew culinary traditions. This early exposure ignited her lifelong passion for cooking and led her to master traditional Teochew dishes.
With 9 years of experience as a Culinary Instructor, Mary facilitates team-building events through cooking competitions and offers cultural cooking classes for both locals and tourists. She also trains and onboards new instructors, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
Mary is a certified Nutritionist and holds both a Certificate in Private Chef Course and an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP). Her structured, hands-on approach to teaching combines her expertise in nutrition with a love for traditional cuisine, ensuring that her classes are not only enjoyable but also educational and easy to follow.
At CookaBond, Mary is committed to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of traditional cooking while exploring new culinary trends. Her dynamic teaching style and deep knowledge of nutrition create an engaging and memorable experience for all participants, reinforcing CookaBond’s mission of “Promising Good Food & A Good Time.”

Annie’s diverse journey through corporate sales, the seafood industry, and culinary arts has enriched her approach to cooking and teaching. With a background in sales and marketing, she excelled in driving success before marriage. Her career then took an adventurous turn into the seafood industry, where she became a vibrant personality, selling wild-caught fish and captivating audiences through engaging live streams during the COVID pandemic.
Annie’s love for cooking led her to earn a certificate in a Private Chef Course. She treasures the traditional Hakka dishes learned from her late mum, preserving these beloved recipes and sharing them through her work. Having experience as a Culinary Instructor, she teaches cultural cooking classes and facilitates team-building activities, turning her classes into engaging experiences that foster creativity and connection.
Annie also enjoys hosting friends and family with her home-cooked meals, transforming her home into a gathering place where love and food come together. Passionate about exploring different cuisines, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes and discovering fresh flavors and techniques.
At CookaBond, Annie infuses her classes with enthusiasm, creativity, and a deep appreciation for culinary traditions. She shares her formal training alongside cherished family recipes, preserving her culinary heritage while creating memorable dining experiences.
